Dr. Erin Rosen received her doctorate in chiropractic from Life University in September of 2013 after which time she practiced in Colorado and Georgia before returning to Massachusetts in 2015. As a second-generation chiropractor she is motivated to make a difference in the healthcare field. Her leadership roles while in chiropractic school included: President of the Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) Club, Member of the Appropriations and Professional Leadership Committee, research track scholarship recipient, proctor for the 180 hour International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) certification series, instructor for SOT seminars and the 1st student certified in SOT by SOTO-USA.
She was first exposed to research as a Kinesiology major at UMass Amherst and continued this work in chiropractic school as a member of the research track at Life University. Her work included: data collection and analysis for various research projects, as well as a paper acceptance and presentation at the International Research and Philosophy Symposium (IRAPS) conference at Sherman College.
As an undergraduate she attended Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, was a Women in Leadership Scholarship recipient and participating student of the Women in Leadership Program. She graduated with honors from UMass Amherst with a degree in Kinesiology. Dr. Rosen continued her postgraduate studies in the health care field. She graduated from the Institute for Integrated Nutrition, became a certified Viniyoga instructor, Kundalina Yoga instructor and a Khalsa Way Prenatal and Pregnancy yoga instructor.
While in high school Dr. Rosen founded a non-profit organization called "Erin's Helping Hands". Under her direction over 400 volunteers provided over 20,000 blankets to needy children around the world. In addition to blankets, care packages were provided to children entering foster care and homeless shelters throughout Massachusetts.
In addition to the various pre-professional experiences she brings to the profession an accomplished athletic background as an elite nationally ranked rhythmic gymnast and over 9 years of gymnastics coaching experience. This experience has given her a deep understanding of the intricacies and functional capacity of performance in both elite and amateur athletes. Holding degrees in both Kinesiology and Chiropractic as well as her studies in integrative nutrition have allowed Dr. Rosen to develop a unique understanding of human biomechanics and neurophysiology.
Testimonials for Dr. Erin Rosen
I've had the opportunity to work with both Drs Rosen and have come to really value and appreciate their approach to chiropractic health. Now a days, I work with Dr. (Erin) Rosen, who is absolutely fantastic. Every appointment begins the same way - laying on table while she evaluates my spine, occasionally propping up a hip or two to balance out my sides. Then, she systematically works her way through the areas of my spine that need adjusting with deft hands, turns me over and repeats the same process on the other side. This means that each alignment adapts to address the discomforts of my spine that day.
Chiropractic care has been an integral part of our health and wellness care for decades. So, when our beloved and skilled DC decided to retire a couple of years ago, we were a bit anxious about our future care. Fortunately, we were referred to Wellesley Chiropractic, where Nancy managed the transition seamlessly. Marty and Erin made it immediately apparent that we would be in good hands, literally. Their truly amazing skills in pinpointing and adjusting both the misalignment of the day, along with the chronic problem areas, have proven over and over again, the value of chiropractic care in maintaining our health and quality of life. We are thankful to the entire team at Wellesley Chiropractic as we faithfully adhere to our maintenance program.
I began chiropractic treatment with Dr. Erin Rosen in February of 2018. She has been most helpful in addressing my discomfort and pain in many areas, specifically neck, lower back, knees, etc. Her perceptiveness and acumen make her a good practitioner. I find her compassionate and respectful when addressing my concerns and answering a range of questions from problem areas to preventative care. I feel very lucky that her practice is in my area. I highly recommend her.
I am a huge fan and have been combating countless sports, stress and other physical injuries and discomforts for years. A while ago one of my Portuguese Water dogs hurt her back hiking. She was walking with her back legs so delicately and her tail down. Marty adjusted her and her tail began wagging immediately. Now both dogs are regulars too. Erin and Marty have a healing gift and the office has a family vibe that seems to include everyone that walks in the door.
The Rosens have taken fantastic care of my children and tailor their approaches to their individual needs. I brought both of my children to the Rosens due to neurological issues. As a result of the chiropractic care they have received at Wellesley Chiropractic, the tics are gone, all without medication! Over the past few years, they gained our trust; they have addressed various health concerns that have arisen. Both Dr. Marty Rosen and Dr. Erin Rosen take the time to listen and then look for the source of the issue, before taking action. They also take the time to educate us on the issues at hand. We consider ourselves very lucky be under their care.
I initially started seeing Dr. Erin Rosen after my husband had come home from an oversees business trip and acquired a parasite of some sort that the western medicine infectious disease specialist did not want to see him for because his symptoms were often subtle and erratic. They did some blood work but weren't really interested in digging deeper. He knew there was something wrong and Dr. Marty knew there was something wrong. It took some time and patience but Dr. Marty did it! Along the way, my husband and I realized just how beneficial chiropractic care is and we decided to have the rest of the family seen at Wellesley. We primarily see Dr. Erin while my husband still sees Dr. Marty. My son had awful allergies and asthma-GONE! We thought we were heading into surgery for one of my daughters knee issues but with regular visits to Dr. Erin we avoided that! My other daughter struggled with some hormone issues but says she has never felt better or had more energy. Whenever any of them are under stress or feeling unwell they ask for an appointment. As for me, I decided to be seen initially for low back pain and re-occurring headaches but after learning so much from Dr. Erin we pretty much see her for everything from colds to injuries and everything in between! As a whole, my family is healthier and happier than ever! I can't forget Nancy and her infectious laugh, super efficient management skills and loving bits of motherly wisdom! Thank you Wellesley Chiropractic!
Dr. Erin Rosen has made such a huge difference in how my body cooperates with me. She's been encouraging and straight with me from start to (eventual) finish. I always leave her office stronger than when I went in. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
I've been a patient at Wellesley chiropractic for at least twenty years! I am a former professional dancer and dance teacher and I know at 65 I would not still be dancing without first Marty taking care of me, and now Erin. They are both the best at what they do and I recommend highly.
We started going to see Dr. Martin Rosen in 2012, and transitioned to mostly seeing Dr. Erin Rosen about two years ago. Dr. Martin Rosen completely eliminated my TMJ (Dr. Erin has kept it at bay as well), and their work with our kids has been wonderful. It's very hard to find innovative thinkers who view patients as individual human beings and not as checklists, and from the office staff to the doctors themselves, we've found this practice to be a major component in managing non-checklist issues.
Drs. Marty and Erin Rosen are excellent! We have been seeing them for years and have been very happy with our experience. We also have been bringing our kids there since they were born. Our kids have been very healthy and a lot of that is from the great care they have received at Wellesley Chiropractic Office.
My family have been cared for by Wellesley Chiropractic for 19 years. We have been grateful for, and blessed by their expertise in their field, their compassion and dedication to their patients, and their willingness to take the time necessary to talk through any concerns. In our family alone they have treated a newborn with serious cranial issues, concussions, learning disabilities and an injured hip. We were thrilled when Dr Erin Rosen joined Dr Marty in practice and primarily seek her care now. Her patience, talent and humor ensure that a patient receives all they can from every adjustment . Dr Erin is fine tuned not only to nuances of the spine, but has a remarkable gift for asking specific questions to bring light possible causes of issues. All three of my children have had their first chiropractic visit before their one week newborn visit. I have recommended Wellesley Chiro to several friends and all have been grateful for the care they received. I cannot imagine my family's health without the care of Dr Erin and Dr Marty.
I trust both Dr. Marty and Dr. Erin Rosen with my health and well being. I have being going to Wellesley Chiropractic for many years now and can say wholeheartedly that it has made a huge difference in my life. When Dr. Erin joined, I was so pleased with her skill and ability that I see her as often as Dr. Marty. In fact, I've had such a great experience I trusted them with the care of my newborn granddaughter! After just two adjustments, she went from sleeping only 4 hours per night to between 10-12.....at only 8 weeks of age! Now, with another grandchild on the way, I will certainly bring him/her for pediatric care.
